about traditional chinese medicine (TCM)

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, is a holistic system that has been practiced for thousands of years. TCM is a systemic approach that looks deeper than symptoms to treat the root cause of imbalance. In treating the body's energy (Qi) pathways, TCM has beneficial effects on hormonal balance, the immune system, and the nervous system.  Acupuncture enhances the relaxation response, facilitating a state in which our bodies can recover from stress and activate self-healing systems.  Very thin needles are used to precisely stimulate your entire system to restore balance. Herbal formulas are tailored to address your unique constitution. Treatments are relaxing and replenishing.
